Jacob M. Smith, 28, of Marion and formerly of Delaware, died Wednesday (March 4, 2009) from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
He was born June 5, 1980 in Prineville, Ore., to David and Penelope (Schirtzinger) Smith. He graduated from Buckeye Valley High School in 1998.
Jacob is survived by his fiancee, Erica Schultz of Marion; his parents of Delaware; three daughters, Rayma, Emmalyn and Rheanna; one sister, Rayma Debo of Delaware; four brothers, Russell of Delaware, Beau of Columbus, David II of Palm Harbor, Fla., and Lucas of Delaware; and his maternal grandparents, James and Beulah Schirtzinger of Sunbury.
A gathering and celebration of Jacob’s life will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday at Robinson Funeral Home, 32 W. Winter St. Memorial contributions may be made to the family. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home. Condolences may be expressed at www.robinsonfuneralhomeinc.com.
